The cost of sheltering, feeding and providing medical care to our community's homeless pets is rising - along with everything else! Dogwood receives no tax funding, but is supported by its thrift shop, private donations, and fundraisers. Donating to and shopping at Dogwood Thrift Shop is a great way to help us raise the money necessary to provide this much needed service to our community!

Meet The Puppies
It's PUPPY TIME at Dogwood Animal Shelter. Hi folks. We're just a few of the puppies available for adoption right now at the shelter. We're a pretty mixed bunch. Some of us were born here, for which we are very grateful. We've heard that some of our new friends were found in a box on the side of the road, some were pulled out from underneath a house and some were just wandering the streets. But it's all good now....we've got a nice warm place to sleep, plenty of food for our little bellies and lots of toys to play with. Oh, did I mention all the love and attention we get? It's amazing what a little time in someone's loving arms can do for your soul. We're healthy, happy and playful and just waiting for someone to come in and fall in love with us (which won't be hard cuz we're so darned cute)! At least that's what we're told. So come on down and see for yourself. We dare you to try and resist the urge to pick one of us up and cuddle for a little bit. See you soon!
